Richard Lichtenstein is a member of Bain’s Private Equity and Advanced Analytics practices with deep expertise in Marketing Excellence. He is also Bain’s Chief Data Officer for Private Equity.
Ms. Larsson is a member of the portfolio management team. Prior to StepStone, Ms. Larsson was an assistant vice president on the credit economic risk capital team at Credit Suisse.
Eric is Ontra’s Senior Vice President of Engineering. He leads all technical functions at the company including software development, AI, quality, infrastructure, security, and IT.
Richard Lichtenstein is a member of Bain’s Private Equity and Advanced Analytics practices with deep expertise in Marketing Excellence. He is also Bain’s Chief Data Officer for Private Equity. He has more than 20 years of consulting experience with Bain. Richard leads Bain's effort to incorporate advanced analytics and generative AI into private equity due diligence and portfolio work. He has a team of 100+ people that help teams with innovative data sources and analytic approaches. Richard also co-leads Bain’s efforts to bring GenAI to investors. Richard was the product leader for Bain’s Experimentation @ Scale product (formerly Test for Results) for five years and holds deep expertise in sales and marketing, including digital test and learn, multi-variate testing and growth strategy. Richard received an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he received the Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Award and the Michaelson Prize. He graduated from Harvard with an AB and an MS in computer science.
Ms. Larsson is a member of the portfolio management team. Prior to StepStone, Ms. Larsson was an assistant vice president on the credit economic risk capital team at Credit Suisse. Before that she was an assistant professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematics at NYU. Ms. Larsson received her PhD in mathematics from McGill University, her MS from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), and her BS from Michigan Tech University.
Eric is Ontra’s Senior Vice President of Engineering. He leads all technical functions at the company including software development, AI, quality, infrastructure, security, and IT. Prior to Ontra, Eric spent 10 years at AppFolio, starting as the first Director of Engineering and most recently as Vice President of Engineering for the Investment Management business unit. During his time there, Eric led engineering for many of AppFolio’s most significant efforts, including mobile, embedded payments, Investment Management, and AI. Eric previously spent seven years at Las Cumbres Observatory where he was the Director of Engineering, building the world’s first global network of robotic telescopes. Eric sits on the board of directors for Providence School and has been a director of Sage Trail Alliance. He also serves on the customer advisory boards of various prominent software companies including Vanta. Eric holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo.
