Legal Aid Alliance:
Ontra’s Pledge to Better Our Justice System
For every document we process on our platform, we donate one dollar to support nonprofit legal aid organizations across the United States, Europe, and APAC.
Ontra’s commitment to closing the justice gap
Millions of underserved communities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia cannot access the legal representation they need. Ontra is committed to closing the justice gap. Through our Legal Aid Alliance, Ontra donates $1 per document processed for its over 700+ private equity industry customers to fund access to legal services in low-income communities. Since 2021, Ontra has donated over $500,000 to legal aid organizations in the U.S., and in 2023, expanded the program into Europe and APAC.
Ontra’s Legal Aid Alliance program supports vetted, nonprofit legal aid organizations affiliated with the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) in the U.S. and handpicked organizations within the UK, Singapore, and Australia. These nonprofits work with members of underserved communities to address issues such as domestic violence, employment discrimination, opioid addiction, veterans justice, disaster recovery, and much more.
